Datasets

The current Paradigm chat agent is a research agent that populates spreadsheets with data. It can search external sources, generate data, and return structured information—but it cannot modify or overwrite your spreadsheet’s contents directly.

Natural Language Queries

Type or paste a question or command into the text box. Ready-made queries are shown near the top of the chat and are clickable, such as the following:

Tools

On the left side of the chat, you’ll see a “Tools” menu with search categories and data sources.
We are integrated with both proprietary and external data sources to provide this data.
  • People Search (Apollo, Exa GitHub, etc.)
  • Company Search (Exa Companies, OpenAI Generate Data)
  • Financial Data (Crunchbase, Exa Financial Reports)
  • Research Papers (Exa Research Papers, Exa PDFs)
  • News Articles (Exa News Articles, OpenAI Generate Data)
  • Tweets (Exa Tweets)
  • Web Scraping (Diffbot Scraper)
  • Column Setup (Paradigm Column Setup)
  • Media (Exa Movies, Exa Songs, OpenAI Generate Data)
If you click on a tool, it will be added to the chat and you can see all filters available with that tool. For example, if you click on “People Search”, you can see the filters for title, location, company name, revenue, industry, and more.
If you click on “Column Setup”, you can see the basic setup for column 1, column 2, and column 3 and the prompts for each column.
You can switch sources within a category if you would like the same type of data (ex: People Search, Company Search, etc.) from a different data provider.
You can use multiple tools in one chat to run a more complex query. For example, you can run column setup then run a people search with Apollo and then add a people search with Exa. We are always adding more data sources! Let us know which ones you’d like to see next.
